I am a big Fan of Dr Jordan Petersen and in reviewing the reviews of his work I would just point out that he never claims to have the answers to either our individual problems nor the worlds problems. Rather he uses proven statistics, (he doesn’t even claim them as his opinions)that underline the consequences of certain social situations, for example gender equality. The only thing I have heard him opinionated about is the issue, peculiar to Canada I hasten to add, re transgender and other pronouns being MANDATED by the Government. This is tantamount to removing freedom of speech whereby we are OBLIGED to call a non binary individual by their preferred pronoun rather than hurt their feelings. He never actually refuses to acknowledge the non binary individual actually HAS those feelings, but he DOES opine that its a ridiculous state of affairs biologically and refuses to give up his right of non participation. On all other issues Ive seen and heard him speak he substantiates his findings with statistics and uses phrases such as “statistically more likely to” etc, NOT “that is why” statements, - leaving the listener to draw conclusions and suggest recipes to try and fix the issue at hand, - a true self help opportunity. There will always be doubters and haters, we shouldn’t care as indeed they dont care about our own opinions. It’s a two way street and I will choose to go the way I think is more logical and helpful, common sensical and productive. Thankyou Dr Jordan.
