This is a page turner, satisfyingly twisty at times. I’ve seen it compared to The Secret History by Donna Tartt, and I agree that it delves into that strange world of close friendship formed between young people living together without parents, yet not yet in the real world. The author also speaks to many of the ways young women are coerced and ultimately dismissed and discarded, sometimes permanently. Read it if only to have your own experience affirmed.
