If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed that Hollywood made a film about holding predators accountable for their crimes. I’ve certainly seen movies with a more impressive production value and original script but the message of the story makes up for these minor faults in my opinion. All attention drawn to the very relevant issue of child trafficking at the southern border is a win in my books, and this film does so without becoming partisan, preachy, or seeming overly contrived. Overall this film does not break the hitman/revenge movie mold but I hope to see much more in media and entertainment on the topics handled here.
