To me, the main character, who supposedly has bipolar disorder, didn’t seem like she had bipolar disorder. She seemed like someone who just wanted to act up and be an a-hole. She seems like someone who says, I have bipolar, or a mental illness, so they can get away with being essentially a sh%t human being, someone who can do whatever they want without any consequence because I have a mental illness. The acting was good and there were funny moments, but for the most part, it was kind of all over the place.

Trying too hard to be weird. Napoleon dynamite was genuine. This wasn’t, too contrived.
