The Callisto Protocol is a great game imo. The visuals are great, the sound is incredible, the acting is spot on, the gameplay is solid, and the enemy design is awesome. The story needs work and some elements reduce the horror making it more of an action game with horror elements. I'm not going to spoil anything but the lack of isolation combined with the constant melee fighting against the majority of enemies reduce the amount of fear you feel when playing. There are a few genuinely scary moments but they are few and far between. I still really enjoyed this game and look forward to the upcoming DLC and I do recommend this game. Just know, not as scary as the studio would like you to believe.
