I’m 20 minutes into episode one, accepting the level of believability the acting is giving, and I had to stop, log into my gmail account just to write this. The teacher storyline is absolutely ridiculous, it’s lazy writing. You’re telling me HBO can’t find incredible writers with HBO money?? What a wasted opportunity to offer an incredible reboot. It should have been a version of a glamorous Euphoria - imagine! The children of the New York elite with elite money! Modern opulence and nepotism - that I’d watch for a glimpse of what it might be like.
