Really enjoyed this movie! It was a well executed coming together of John Carpenter's original vision, good story execution, timeline continuity, Rob Zombiesque gore, and character development. The negative reviews I keep reading keep referencing elements of the film or the Michael Myers character as being "unrealistic". SERIOUSLY!! It's a slasher horror film with Michael Meyers of course things are unrealistic. The character is the SHAPE the original vision has always been that he is beyond humanity so to envision him as beyond the confines of human limitations isn't a stretch. This movie truly picked up where Halloween 2018 left off and actually clarify some elements from that film in a way where you go "Oh that is why that was in the 2018 movie". This Michael is incredible! Kudos to the actor James Jude Courtney he does an amazing job of elevating the character to this unprecedently level of savagery.
