This is a favorite of mine. The acting is superb. The realizations of class systems including the domination of wealth and power over the submissive poor is heart wrenching. I particularly loved the ethnic reveal of the skin colors in this drama. Instead of lily white bleached skin, real tan skin tones were depicted. It was beautiful because during those days everybody was their natural color. Asians are people of color but these days because of so called beauty standards ghost coloring is the norm.
