Men who can’t take no for an answer, women showing that no could mean yes if they’re pursued hard enough, men thinking that violence is love, what’s not to like in this movie! I’m a huge fan of Alia, but I think there’s a better way of presenting women’s empowerment, & exposing the toxic male chauvinism in Indian families.
