Rob Peace was very thought-provoking movie about a real life genius, revealing the struggle and pressures of Black life for so many—even the most brilliant among us. The cast all did a fine job and I regret there were only five of us in the theater to see this film. Wondering why films that address Black life in America tend to be so poorly rated by Rotten Tomatoes—asking for a friend. Don’t let the current 74 rating dissuade you. Go see this film and take some friends. Buying tickets and filling seats today is what helps the next movie telling our stories get made tomorrow.
