First film I remember with Dumbledore in...

It’s darker than the Jungle book remake. I watched them back to back. Perhaps a little more depth of character in this one too. If you want a harsher reality Jungle book this is it.

Watched back to back with Mowgli. It’s lighter and flirts closer to the animated film of the 60’s. But watching it I couldn’t help thinking I would rather watch the Lighter animation or gritty Mowgli.

Why? It's a painful reminder of all that is wrong with Netflix.

It started well. However, with every episode came more plot twists and multi universe possibilities. It lost its foot hold and just went down hill. The characters became either over the top or diluted. The kids just kept walking off every 5 minutes. By episode 10 I was happily watching you tube on my phone willing it to end.

There was no option for 0 stars. So I had to give one. This film is bad really bad. Gangsta Granny was a more believable Gangster story. The moral position of its cast was skewed, the plot was discombobulated. It felt like anyone could take the Moral high ground and Extort people for protection without being violent or intimidating in New York in the 70’s and within minutes without challenge could be the top dogs. Nah give me The Godfather Goodfellas or The Departed any day. In fact I would take Gotti over this!!!!
