It takes a bit to warm up to - and to understand the overall intent of the series. I have driven through Espanola once so far, so I was immediately curious about why the main characters would be building eco housing in that community. A lot of issues related to crime, poverty, racial tension, casino addiction are brought into light in a very campy way. The show doesn't take itself seriously. I thought it was sort of like Portlandia. I actually watched all 7 episodes in one evening. I am curious if the series will continue to evolve.
