It's a great film but it doesn't wow me as much as X and Pearl did. I was expecting more of a "she will do whatever it takes to become a star", 'cause that's how I see Maxine especially in X. I didn't really see that in the film as the plot focuses on Maxine's survivability. I was hoping for more Maxine moments, like she'd be stepping on people's faces to get to the top. But I guess that's kind of predictable and somewhat cliché. Still, enjoyable and interesting film! I very much adore the concept and Mia Goth.
