This direct sequel is respectful to the first while being it's own movie. George C Scott is riveting as Kinderman and Brad Dourif is hypnotic in his portrayal of the "patient with no name". Expertly written and directed by William Peter Blatty, the author of the original book that inspired one of the greatest horror movies ever made The Exorcist. This movie even has a cameo by 2008 hall of fame basketball inductee Patrick Ewing. This movie should be required viewing foe all who call themselves horror movie fans.

Excellent slow burn plot and a perfect adaptation of a scary short story by the King of horror. I liked this film immensely

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. I tried to be excited about it but I just was bored to few second naps. The pace was sluggish the plot was laughable and the only good thing about the film is that I turned it off and watched c-span which was infinitely more exciting.

This movie was corny. Very bad acting as well.

The music was breath taking, the acting was superb and the cinematography was brilliant. Loved it.
