I am no one to give a review of this book. Because this book is beyond amazing. But let me be honest here as the book is nice but in my POV if you’re dealing with mental issues or breakdowns then avoid reading this book. But it’s totally up to you. This book will tell you about life and death. It will teach you a plethora of lessons at some point you’ll get disturbed but it won’t ruin your interest in reading this book. This is one of the most engrossing books I have ever read. It compelled you to read to know what happen next. I sobbed at some point. My favorite lines from this book are “Death exists, not as the opposite, but as a part of life “
True as this might be, it was only one of the truths we had to learn. What I learned from Naoko's death was this: no trust can cure the sadness we feel from losing a loved one. No truth, no sincerity, no strength, and no kindness, can cure that sorrow.
Our faces were no more than ten inches apart, but she was light-years away from me.
I’d love to write a poem for you
But I have no pen.
Lastly,
All the letters were written by Toru Watanabe and Naoko ❤️🫶
No doubt Haruki Murakami is the best writer. ❤️
