Overall I enjoyed this film and found it very watchable despite feeling like a diversity public information film at times (following Ife giving the racist cockney couple a dressing down in the shelter I was half expecting them to say 'cor blimey, you're right, Ive been such a racist). Some other bits stretched credibility a bit - I'm not sure George would have survived his various efforts at getting on and off trains. But as a feel good film it worked for me.

Best film I've been to see in ages. Just go and watch it as a piece of entertaining, camp, action packed historical drama. Don't over analyse it and you'll love it.
