I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the way this book was a slower, gradual kind of drama. I enjoyed reading how the main characters' issue was affecting his personal life, his job, his family.
Readers today are so impatient today, wanting the answers to everything by page 35 - missing the opportunity to enjoy a slower build and getting to know the characters and the storyline as it unfolds.
As the story progressed, I was introduced to some more interesting characters and a couple off-balanced characters which was a lot of fun.
It took me about a week and a day to finish this book and I've got to say that I was okay with that, truly. Don't miss out or reject a book just because it might be a slower kind of build with the storyline progressing the way it does.
Get yourself a copy of this book, you will not be sorry and again, just curl up and just enjoy the ride that this book gives you even if it takes you a week. So what it's called reading!
