i thoroughly enjoyed this book throughout the beginning however i don’t think it compares to the first three books of the selection as it was just overall unexpected and felt thrown together. i was rooting for kile throughout the book with their interactions and backstory coming across as the best choice. however the fact that eadlyn ending up choosing eric was a bit disappointing as i felt that their only interactions showcased their friendship and not how they actually felt about one another. if you have read the first selection books and are dying for more of america’s and maxons story then i would not suggest reading this book expecting to see a similar story. however i loved the interactions between maxon and america as even though they are now 20 years older their interactions show their love and devotion to one another.
