First Anime I ever watched because of all the mind-blowing reviews and the series didn't disappoint. Every episode had something new. The concept of the death note was so well researched and vividly explored. The characters were amazing starting from light yagami, his father, misa, L and many more. The reason for 4 stars is because I think they dragged it too long and Near defeating Light Yagami was just not satisfying to watch. They should have just let the story revolve around L and Kira . It would have been more satisfying if L had been the one to catch Kira. After L's death, I only completed the series because I wanted to end it. The story and the plot didn't keep me hooked and I could have easily left it in between but I'm too OCD for that. And I found myself fast forwarding for the rest of the series to get it over with. But all things considered it was a great series to watch with a fresh concept.

Deserves 4 star but the last season was utterly disappointing. Not a very new concept of fraud Babas but the way they presented it was very well done. Being a series they got the time to make the character development and give each character its own story and motives. First season was solid and second season was also good but the third season had nothing new. Good guys find a new way to catch the baba but he gets away with his influence and power and the good guys get frustrated and next episode they find another way and the whole cycle carries on and on for 5-6 times. They definitely milked everything out of that plot and ended the third season the same way. The same political back and forth, same japnam everywhere and same old baba who is untouchable. We're in the 3rd season and there should be something to make the baba sweat but still nothing. This series had potential. And the trailer for the 4th season is so superficial I'm not gonna watch it anymore. What a waste.

Unpopular Opinion : KGF2 is overrated. The story had potential but the producers missed out by focusing on Rocky too much. The other characters get little to no screentime and even the major villian aka Sanjay Dutt had no backstory, just a vague narration which lasted hardly a minute. I would have loved to see the story of Adheera(Sanjay Dutt) but I guess they only wanted to focus on Rocky because that's what the hardcore fans want. But with this they compromised on the story massively. If you're a hardcore Rocky fan, you'll love this. If you're a fan of the movie, this might be a little disappointing.
