Massive fan of the video games, and like many was upset that the writers strayed so far from the game lore in season one, and I know that’s why the show gets such criticism. Regardless, the fact that they have brought these amazing visuals to life and have really improved A LOT this second season is why I am giving it this rating. People need to step back and think, even this show gets cancelled, it is likely we will never see another Halo TV show (if paramount cannot do it with a massive budget, no one is going to try it again). So I would rather have SOMETHING rather than nothing to expand on this amazing universe. It’s not like they are rewriting the canon. The Halo Forward Unto Dawn live-action series would have been the perfect way to go about creating a Halo series though.
