How can you have a WW2 game without the U.S. or the Soviets? This is just another example of how EA pushes microtransactions, costumes and other cosmetics, over actual gameplay. I would literally pay for dlc (which is exactly what they want) if it would just offer new factions (U.S, U.S.S.R, and Japan) and new Grand operations to support those faction's. There is also a level cap of 50, (I reached in the TWO months of gameplay) which makes no sense whatsoever. Are you intentionally trying to discourage veteran BF players EA? The gameplay lives up to previous Battlefields, offers more realism and immersivness, but those are the only positives. This will be the last battlefield game I will purchase as long as EA makes the title and I feel like a fool for paying for a $60 game that OFFERED nothing NEW to BF1 or ANY previous Battlefields. I worry for the future of this franchise and I hope EA changes their current ideology or goes bankrupt for their transparent greedy disposition towards the gaming community.
