OK, just watched the whole series. Pros: Colin Farrell keeps you engaged. Good acting. Cons: Terrible script, it seems like they wanted to just throw the kitchen sink into this. Very disorganized. I personally am a big fan of film noir. But I found all the noir film references and seen insertions to be annoying if not downright meaningless. Kind of insulting to the whole film noir genre. As it went on, the plot became even more unbelievable.. The “surprise“ was silly. Conclusion: Could’ve been very good. Instead, it was mildly interesting. Witness the contemporary TV series “Perry Mason”. Terrific ensemble acting combined with a good script made for good watching, especially in season two. Disappointed that they didn’t extend it. .
