I will absolutely with my name and my current picture say this is the most horrific and dangerous movie ever made. It’s despicable and shines light on Christmas songs that suggest situations that I do not disagree with being inappropriate. At the same time, to the offender it suggests, if you are a good person, make a fake profile, the person you are Interested is will fly across the country and eventually get past what people have made you feel like and fall in love with you! He or she will STAY IN YOUR HOUSE and become your best friend. Eventually that will lead to love. The danger of this movie literally made me vomit after the movie. I’m so glad this was a poorly made B movie at best. I hope no one sees it. It empowers offenders and romanticizes victim’s views of their offenders. It’s so dangerous. The most horrific excuse for a movie ever! Makes a mockery of songs that have been obviously about potential date rape implications for years. At the same time encouraging people to fly to their catfishes home on their own dime and live among their family, while their manipulation turns to helping them figure out a relationship with the actual person in the falsified pictures. That person disappoints and the offender wins in the end. Catfishers are the same as sex offenders. Literally and figuratively. Figuratively by the law, but more than often literally. So many cat fishers lure victims to rape and murder them. It’s not romantic!! This movie is so offensive to anyone who has ever been victimized in anyway. It’s no different than if the girl in the movie was 6 years old and eventually realized her offender was actually an amazing person who was suppressed by his or her narcissistic brother and blended family. It is that disgusting. It encourages victims to become victims and empowers offenders to keep doing what they are doing! I genuinely hope that a vulnerable victim doesn’t see this movie as romantic and makes the wrong choice. I pray that no more offenders are empowered by this monstrosity against all morality. This movie is literally encouraging questioning people to get Into dangerous situations to find true love. Disgusting!
