this game, simply put, is a powerful masterpecee, detailed lore, outstanding boss fights and touching stories, this game harbors everything that gaming encourages, this game plays like any other soulds borne game, but it adds just enough new content to liven it up, things like summons and ash of wars is something to behold. The amount of content this game has is mindblowing, one thing keeps bothering me, people keep saying Godrick the Grafted is a child of Godfrey and Marika but im pretty certain thats Godwyn, who forms the golden lineage who the last descendant being Godrick. i also have a theory on why Godrick got a great rune despite him being weak, i believe that he grafted a piece of Godwyn onto himself to claim his rune after he was assassinated, i also think he was only able to do this because the black knife assassins targeted and murdered Godwyns soul, leaving his body in functioning order but without a soul to command it. Therefore Godrick could have come along, ended the body and grafted it upon himself so that he may inherit his power and coincidentally get a rune. Im not fully aware of all the lore especially since George R.R Martin wrote the story so its bound to be complex, but i think thats what happened
