I watched this movie while I was going through chemo and rewatched it as I am going through radiation now. It really hit home with me. Especially the scene when he’s about to have surgery and he finally allows himself to cry, and he reaches out for his mom. I couldn’t breathe watching this part. And the music just broke my heart. Another moving scene was when he put his drunk best friend to bed and found the book “Facing Cancer Together” worn, dog-eared, with notes in it. The kind of friend that stays through thick and thin. There were so many memorable moments. A must see, sweet and funny tear jerker.
