Rowell does a great job of maintaining the overall flow of the book while switching between Park and Eleanor's thoughts and actions.there were many times where I felt like I was in a loop of the same events happening over and over again, I eventually questioned if these monotonous events would ever end. It seemed like it was a shabby attempt to stack on more pages. Granted, I was constantly pulled back in by something interesting happening and it made it more worthwhile to finish the book.
*possible spoiler* Personally, I will say... how could you end it like that?? My heart was hurting for most of the book, and I simply couldn't believe that after everything we went through it had to end like that. I understand not everything needs a happy ending, but come on! I don't even think Eleanor's gesture at the end left enough room for a hopeful future. This is just my personal thought.
