"The Acolyte" is a colossal disappointment, and it's painfully obvious that the women behind it have no clue about Star Wars lore. The storyline is a convoluted mess that betrays the essence of what makes Star Wars great. It's clear they were more interested in pushing a shallow agenda than respecting the franchise's rich history. The characters lack depth, the dialogue is cringeworthy, and the attempts at creating suspense fall flat. This series is a slap in the face to fans who expect better from the Star Wars universe.
