Movies like Spaghettiman and Kung Fu Hustle aren't great because they have top-notch acting or out-of-this-world VFX like a Marvel or DC film. They are great because they are simply so absurd. Spaghettiman is objectively a bad movie, but it is so subjectively charming. The superpower is just totally asinine, and the acting is subpar, to say the least. But the story is intriguing and the film as a whole is just, well, fun in the same way that Kung Fu Hustle is fun. It's got its charm, but you'll need to keep your expectations low. It's a great movie to watch with friends and have a good chuckle.
