A little hard to figure out. The white coffee farm owners appear to have little connection with Africa, the land they are rooted in. Isabelle H is beautiful and very french, running around the bush in a thin pink cotton dress. Not someone who is rooted in the land, someone who loves it.

Lacks detail about financial arrangements (some of the filmmaker / cult participants must have made good dough while in the org.), and lacks details about criminal charges against Raniere - what he did was much less egregious that what Scientology has done, all of it with consenting adults. Doc, tone and form was a leaned towards reality TV style which lessened its credibility. Could have told story in 4 episodes, not 8.
