Worst movie I have ever seen. Sadism in film form. No redeeming characters, no plot arc other than feeling like you are on meth the whole time or something (?) and just makes you feel horrible and disgusting after watching it, trying to find anything of value. I was looking for something gritty and suspenseful and I like Jake Gyllenhal, so I guess that was my first mistake. This emotional snuff film wallows in it's own filth of anger issues, anxiety and depressively dark mindset. You walk away feeling like you really need to take medication and/or go to a shrink. I actually think that it is irresponsible to put audiences through this, especially now. Yes, it is just that bad. I consider it a mental health risk. Don't bother trying to give this movie the benefit of the doubt and wait for something of any value to happen. Not only is it utterly depressing, but the filmmaking is really lazy. The characters are really just surface stereotypes, not even close to being fleshed out. Because why bother, eh? This movie hates itself and hates anyone who is sucker enough to give it a chance. Just GROSS.
