I. am. in love. This movie is so fricking cute and omg my heart 🥺🥺💕😭. There were definitely some scenes that could have been better, like it didn’t feel as real as it could have. Honestly if this movie was a show instead, you would really feel and connect with the emotions of the characters. SPOILER ALERT‼️‼️‼️ For instance, the scene where the friend was feeling out of place and left out: if this was a show, the growth of jealousy (within the first friend) could have been shown subtly throughout various episodes, so his breaking point could have felt more relatable. They could have also shown the kind of influence the main character’s parents had, how much they controlled his life, and despite their goal to force their son to choose a different career, they actually drove him away and potentially caused him to his own life. There could’ve also been more cutesy scenes between the main characters to strengthen their connection. And they could have gone more in depth with the thoughts and internal struggles of a confused closeted introverted young man. If only Wish You were a show like Hometown Cha Cha Cha, our hearts would have melted more 😪. Despite that, I still love this movie 🥺.
