I think Tom Hardy is a great actor and his performance was great (hence the 3 stars) but again like some other reviews I found myself slightly lost... obviously it focuses on his last year before he died and there definitely are some strong scenes that were done which I won’t forget, but I found that it is just a film you would probably only watch once and that’s it not like any of his other films. As someone who was unaware of Al Capone’s past I think it would have been good to have focused more clearly on his past as well as his last year.

I know people think that maybe this is all for money and I’m not disputing that fact for the boys that have now come forward with these accusations of abuse. But there is the evidence of him sleeping in a room with young boys fact! it’s not right! And let’s be honest just hanging around/ on film saying he loves these boys with happy birthday messages is really just asking for speculation. As such a public figure what I did not understand is why did he put himself in this position and why did people in his business let this happen and let him put himself in this position?
