I became a fan during Blurryface and have remained a fan. I have attended 4 concerts (about to be 5) and am from their home state living about an hour north from them. My son had been a fan much longer than me and introduced me to their older stuff after learning I was enjoying their work. It's become a whole family band with my daughter and husband joining in. It's exciting that we have this in common and can follow the lore. This album is my favorite. I loved Next Semester when it was released, it brought back that 90's punk feel for me. I thought it was my new all-time favorite song until I heard Routines in the Night. That is my number one favorite song of all time. I love this band. They are geniuses! If you've never listened to them before, it's not too late to start. And if you didn't like them before, I still invite you to give them a listen, this album is great with/without lore.
