As someone who has had cancer which changed my life forever, and can no longer talk normally, I heavily relate to will. My situation may not be as bad, but it has affected me in a way where I no longer enjoy life as I used to. I miss the life I used to have. The friends, the confidence, the happiness.
This film helped me realise that people who love us, love us for what we are, not for what we were. We may no longer love ourselves, but it's others who help us realise how much we deserve love. able to walk or not, able to speak or not. We should live life as it is, not as what it was.
When we have struggles, we grow. We may not be able to return to what we were, but grow into something different and that is beautiful.
But one can't help but wish for things to be as they were, and that is the biggest mountain one can face.
