The dialogue, the emotional depth and the courtroom drama were riveting, Watching the court scenes right to the end you are thoroughly engaged, it never gets dull, The realism in the film as well, largely due to it being based on actual events, the depiction of police brutality and the many evils still present in America in this modern age, All actors portray their characters with a touch of genuineness and the ensemble casts have done justice to their characters starting from Eddie Redmayne to Joseph Gordon Levitt, Jeremy strong, Mark rylance but for me the most impressive performance has been given by Sacha Baron Cohen he is just phenomenal and delivers every dialogue is simply impeccable and the castings are very wisely and selected and they have done their work with sheer brilliance, May get a number of Oscar nominations and Most certainly will win Best Picture and Orginal Screenplay Aaron Sorkin has stolen the show yet again with a brilliant screenplay and direction, Aaron Sorkin is a Master Screenwriter.

I can't believe my eyes that I saw this movie today, I'm feeling emotional while writing this but I also feel ashamed a bit that I didn't watch this movie the time it came back in 2018. Capernaum is one of the most powerful and heartbreaking movie I have ever seen in recent years. It's a deeply empathetic movie which roughly translates to chaos. The acting is sublime & couldn't be any more genuine. The little kid Zain was phenomenal, Nadine Labaki out did herself by portraying the reality that most countries are going through in this time and age. At one point near the end I forgot I was watching a film, the scenes were so gripping and heart wrenching I felt I was living the film, I was in those streets they acted in, This film not only touched my heart it almost broke it. CAPERNAUM is one the greatest foreign language films of the 21st Century an absolute masterpiece.(Prepare to be mind blown if you are going to watch it)

Movie of the Year!! No wonder this movie has won both grand prizes at the Venice and the Toronto Film festivals last year, after watching it I realize why they gave this movie such accolades, Chloe Zhao's Screenplay is brilliant I'm assuming that so much research has been done and the direction is just flawless, have to mention the cinematography it so realistic the way Richards has shot sometimes you feel your in the van along with Frances McDormand, Mesmerizing work by Ludovico Einaudi his Background Music gave me goosebumps in some scenes, After Three Billboards yet another breathtaking performance by the legendary Frances McDormand its Unbelievable how she able to act like this, she is more than an actress her expressions and behavior in certain scenes will blow your mind, I wish she'll win the Oscars for the Third time in her career for this movie , This movie will make you uncomfortable after all that's why movies are made for like David Fincher once said, even President Barak Obama recommended this movie on Instagram a movie not be missed by Cinema lovers

I first watched it in a theatre with my family in 2008, I was 10 years old and I didn't understand the movie well except the love scenes and songs, the songs were kept hearing in mind for weeks my brothers were so hyped about the movie and the songs, but I knew there were something more than love and the songs in the movie I was too young back then. Now I'm 20 years old with some knowledge of life and cinema its amazing after so many years that same feeling is still there about this particular movie, only some movies can grow throughout your life and Varanam Aaiyram is exactly doing that its growing through my life, I might get another perspective about this when I turn 30 or 40, it is like the movie moonlight its a movie of a lifetime there is no end, Gautam vasudev menon wrote this movie listening to the song nee partha parvai from kamal hassan's movie Hey Ram repeatedly there are some elements in the movie which was inspired by gautam's life you can clearly see that in the movie, the writing was exceptional and unique but the direction of Gautam vasudev menon is what standing out, it's his best work to date in his career, after vtv he couldn't deliever a movie like that, And for surya he can act another 100 movies after this but his performance and dedication in this movie is unreachable, especially his acting of the father character every detail was spot on, undoubtedly its his best acting in his career, surya just lived in this movie, Also Harris Jayraj just buried us with his marvellous music that nenjukle paidedum song is one of my all time favourite and the background score is unreal, also his best album of his career, So its combination of Gautam,Surya and Harris with their best work, Varanam Aaiyram is not just a movie its a poetry it will be great if Gautam vasudev menon wrote a book about it, P.S-A must watch movie that could possibly influence you in every moment of your life.

I was anticipated to watch a typical high school teen comedy but I was wrong, yes it has some humor throughout many scenes, but I never expected to watch those thought provoking and emotional scenes, It made me think so deeply sometimes and also gave much laughter as well, John Hughes is an iconic generational writer and his characters are so powerful and emotional and I think everyone can relate to one of his characters backstory at some point, Not a regular teen movie this one will make you think profoundly and also make you feel good about life

I have to say it is the most realistic romantic film of all time, The first time I watched it in 2018 I realized I have never seen a movie like this before, Inspired by some true events by the director when director Richard linklater was traveling in spain he met a girl randomly then they started talking continuously after many hours of conversations they left, years later he found out that she died in car accident, This incident inspired him to make a movie but no one dies in the movie and it's now a classic, They made Before Sunset in 2004 and after 9 years final film of the Trilogy came in 2013 was Before Midnight 3 movies 9 years gap between two recently Ethan Hawke said that he is developing for a fourth movie and I hope it will come in 2022 Anytime if I'm in a bad mood this is my go to movie
