Started off good but, wow, this book seriously needed to be cut down. Literally 100 plus pages could have been annexed and the plot still would have been too slow. I can appreciate the utterly realistic ending but we still could have been given more pay off as readers. I never really had a “wow now it all makes sense!” moment which is what I expect from what’s meant to be a murder mystery with a plot twist. Wouldn’t recommend it tbh.
