Brilliant direction, well acted and a new take on a proven storyline.
I gave it four out of five stars only because the volume raises to be dramatic and then drops to a whisper.

It's a much different Joker than we are use to, but the character is magnetic.
I recommend this movie, just don't expect the Joker of old.
