Just wrapped up reading ‘Gilded Hoofprints’ and wow, what an experience. Edward Dudley Brown's life narrative deeply moved me. This book delves beyond his career in horse racing; it's a testament to tenacity and overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges. Sultan Zeshan masterfully draws readers into the essence of post-Civil War America, making Edward’s hardships and triumphs intensely personal. This work is a compelling illustration of the strength of hope and perseverance. It earns the highest praise from me. The story is so impactful, it not only warrants reading but also screams to be adapted into a film or an animated series. Everyone should give this a read. And honestly, why hasn’t this been turned into a movie or series yet? It’s far too exceptional to remain confined to print.
