Absolutely loved it. Obviously, it differs from the original but the difference isn’t bad- it was very well layed out and there was a lot of comedy - plus, the casting choices were rather good and Aladdin definitely had the charm for the role + Jasmin was quietly powerfully played. As for the genie, Will smith did a spectacular job and it all worked out pretty well. There were quite a few songs to be honest and some of them did take away some of the seriousness but after all it is a Disney film - although, the songs were quite well composed and not too over done for the scenes- will say that do watch it in 3D the CGI is amazing and and so is the camera work. Honestly felt like I didn’t want it to end by the end of the movie - it’s a really good adaption of the original.
