This is my first horror novel. It has a real horror vibe. But rather than horror, I like to call it a Psychological and Supernatural one. The main plot revolves around MC's (Meenakshi) mental and spiritual state. It is mostly about her spilt personality. Writing style is simple and realistic. No lagging nor added trash. A clear plot with a very clear description. I literally completed this novel in one shot. There was an eerie vibe along with horror, anticipation, grief, fear with a few grains of bittersweet love. Even if one don't have a rich imagination, it doesn't show any effect in feeling the emotions as the writing style was really clear, like a movie script. The author managed to well balance both the main characters (Yakshini and Meenakshi). I was sad for Meenakshi but at the same time I couldn't blame Yakshini for her actions and harsh words. I can feel her own grief and struggle. All the characters were well used and mostly no plot holes. The only thing I am hesitant to accept is Yakshini's reason to incarnate on Earth, that curse and Kubera's actions. I just want to know more and confirm. But yeah, this is not at all a problem. It's not related to the novel. It took sometime for me to calm down after completing this novel. Only then I came to write a review. I think this is a very good starting for me. This novel is simply short yet remarkable.
