what this show has helped me learn is everyday orthodox life in Israel. sadly, we only see the bad war-like stories as if Israel is constantly living on the brink of destruction. this show also shows us the importance of ethics and love in a Jewish family. the meaning of love, taking different shapes and sizes. the human not perfect, yet flawed in every way like every other human. I have never watched a show fully in subtitle like this, but easily hooked, thanks to such great character portrayal, story line, and humanity. well done!
