Felt like exactly what you’d expect from Sonic in movie form. Respected the source material, and plenty of lowkey references to the games. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles were cast perfectly, and the story was entertaining even if a bit cheesy, though it felt like the usual Sonic cheesiness so it’s not unexpected. Great for a video game movie adaptation and much better than it has any right to be.
