The thought was there but the execution wasn’t really brought to life that well. There was no voice or theme that was portrayed correctly. Along with having little to no character development, the relationships throughout the movie seemed shallow. The dialogue was rare in the first hour of the movie and when it was it was piss poor. I feel as if you might get drawn in by the imagery but it quickly depletes as you find yourself asking “wait what’s going on why is she naked?”. And I wouldn’t call this sex appeal when the main character is supposed to be a teenager. The scenes that did contain nudity were just unclean. The movie just felt like there wasn’t a direction for it. And without spoiling the ending, how it all played out didn’t really make sense either. How was this happening? The actors didn’t seem to understand either what it is they should be protraying. It just felt sloppy and shallow.
