I first went to see this film when it was released back in 1961. At the time it was part of a dual bill with Pirates of Blood River. I must admit to enjoying the latter more. Though it has some actors I have always liked (Michael Craig, Herbert Lom, Joan Greenwood and Percy Herbert in particular) I think the plot is poor though nostalgia has induced me to watch it again a couple of times since. Not a bad ripping yarn I guess
