Eryk Cup

Worst most generic Pop-Punk album I have ever heard. I don’t understand how this is good. The guitar is bland, boring and just all around boring. I question if MGK can actually play guitar at times or even write music. The rifts all sound the same and blend together. The lyrics are cringe and all around lame. I barely made it through this album. His singing and voice are one note and he has no range. The only compliment I have is the features are all solid and Travis Barker is always good. I just don’t care for any of the, people don’t like me, I’m a poser stuff and Emo girl is just the worst pop punk song ever. Some of the stuff MGK wants to address is really personal and real like his dead dad and mental health struggles but he needs to take more care with these issues instead of making them feel like a joke or some kind of quirky thing like on Drug dealer or make up sex where he adds romanticism to terrible toxic relationships. Overall bad album and there is so much better pop punk out there that is new and old alike and plus his last record was at least listenable.
