The narrative is a bit of a mess but.....it's masterfully directed by Coppola.I would describe it as a cross between "Caligula" and the film versions of "Atlas Shrugged",meaning.... it's interesting but the decadence of Ancient Rome compared to our own,riduculous times gets a bit stale.It's worth seeing but ultimately unsatisfying.
