It's not perfect. The comedy does come off odd because of French cultural differences. However dodgy script and sorry board made it odd. But again it's amazingly well acted funny, sexy, dumb, cringe in all the right ways. I can imagine this being an american film holding cult praise for its innovative story. Bottleneck of a movie however but tells a broad story through different styles. Almost anime like crossed with real life.
