To day I watched a episode of A Woman of Salt by Gabriela Garcia. You used a Latin American voice with accent to read snippets from the book, although the author was clearly comfortable, without accent to speak and read English. You are continuing to use the negative stereotypes of Latina women. We’ve been speaking both Spanish and English fluently for two generations, in some cases three. Please stop using negative stereotypes of us as only speaking English with a Spanish accent. It’s not very positive to our own children and mothers.
