My almost seven year old son and I enjoyed this movie. I didn't think it was too scary though my son likes the slightly macabre and so it might not be for everyone. The movie also broke up the slightly scarier scenes with some pretty good humor or excitement so I didn't think it was too intense for him. It did drag a little in the middle, which my son didn't catch. I like how this franchise brings back so many original characters and I hope they can make another one.
