Quick summary: Good Shut your brain off film, bad if your hoping for a film with depth
Premise is cool but the time travel aspect is a bit convoluted. Ironically the pacing feels a bit off at times (on theme I guess?).
Characters feel very 1 dimensional and I feel like there was probably sections cut fleshing them out a bit more.
A lot of things are "coincidental" and you get a feeling like anytime something weird is mentioned e.g. the kid who likes volcanoes, you can kinda tell it's going to pop up later. There's subtlety then there's bonking people on the head.
The last fight scene with Chris Pratt jumping on the hive mother thing was hilarious and I had to rewind though.
Overall give it a watch if you want a switch your brain off and enjoy the ride kinda film but don't think about it too hard because you'll get lost in the plot holes.
